  I will start by saying I am sure you wiil not post this , but at least read it please.I saw you on cnn this morning showing how the booms were on shore of an island.My question is if you really care why did you not get a rope and a grappling hook and snag these boom from the comfort of your boat and drag them out to where they would do some good.I dont understand how you could walk away with out doing anything but further your career by getting time on CNN.Too many cameras and not enough action is all you did for the cause.It is no different then celebrity benefit concerts that are glorified three vsong commercials for their bands while they beg the average hardworking Joe for his last 20 bucks.Time to put the camera down and do something with out getting the publicity .That is what is all about.Take a good hard look in the mirror and tell me I am wrong.Would love to here what you think if you can put your camera down for 5 miutes and respond.Wont be holding my breath on this one, Peter Ferguson.

  Peter,

  People reporting on the oil spill and difficulties focuses awareness on what’s going on. Johnny’s videos were vetted by CNN and one in particular, was viewed over 22,000 times. Increased awareness will do far more good than pulling in a boom.

  Kim,if you believe that awarness is better than doing something than god help us all.There is a line in a song called driven to tears by The Police that says”too many cameras and not enough food”.Awerness was on Anderson cooper every day for months.You have to get in there and get your hands dirty and accomplish something if you want things to change.While you are waiting for other people to get aware wildlife and shorelines die.Put your actions before your mouth and you will get something done.Shameless pormotion is what this was all about.
