  Hey, bro. Good to see you boys checkin’ in. You’re lookin’ gangsta in your other foto with Mike. Phil has a very cool toy, there. I’m almost *certain* it’s not a Stradivarius. ;-P Looks more like it could suddenly start shooting laser beams. Pretty rockin’ for a symphony guy. (What is it about guys and *size,* though? LOL) There is a modern movement of ‘rock’ violinists developing, with artists like Nigel Kennedy and Antonio Pontarelli. I’d place fiddle players Ashley MacIsaac and Natalie MacMaster in the same category. It’s interesting to see how folks are merging/melding classical and traditional influences with very modern technologies. Mozart for the modern age. Enjoy, lads!
