Oh, I bet you felt every *second* of that one, Johnny. LOL You win, wingtips down… You’re tougher and more macho than this wee Owl, fo’ sho’. ^^ I love the color of the ink and the “candle” shape. (Is it TLee-approved soy-based ink? ;-P) Now, where’s Joe Vegas for a translation/explanation when we need him? ^^
Mom has me laughing so hard I’m crying, here, today… She’s hauling all her old craft kits from years ago out of her closet.
They really used to make some AWESOME craft kits… often for kids. Here’s the warning label off of one for flower dipping: “Dippity-glas THINNER… DANGER. EXTREMELY FLAMMABLE. POISON. First Aid Treatment: Contains Acetone. If swallowed, do not induce vomiting. If overcome by fumes give patient air. Call a physician immediately. Use under well ventilated conditions. Keep away from heat and open flame.” Now, doesn’t that sound like a fabulous way to spend an afternoon? Fun for the whole family! LOL These days, everything is watered down, politically correct… and doesn’t work. Back then, everything worked *wonderfully* well and was more toxic than an oil slick mixed with a bucket of heavy metals and dumped on a nuclear reactor meltdown. ^^
My other favorite is called the “pomkins kit. For the expressive generation TM.” You really have to see the picture on the cover of the instructions to get the full effect… ^^ I’ve scanned the cover of the manual and I’ll post it after this comment. Then, there’s a *raft* of instructions… It’s massive, I’ve seen jet fighter instruction manuals that were thinner… no doubt describing, in exquisite detail, how to glue wobbly eyes and felt pieces onto fuzzy pom poms. LOL
