Johnny, you have more talent in your little finger than most people do in their entire bodies--and over their whole lifespan. You are the most multitalented human being I know. If there's anything that you don't excel at (perhaps apart from climbing rope ladders or sleeping... ever ;-) ), I've yet to see it. I love what I've seen of your writing so far--be it your poetry, fiction, nonfiction or screenplays. You're talented in more ways and more genres/areas than Norman Mailer could possibly have ever dreamed of... I have never seen anyone else that so genuinely represents the living embodiment of a "Renaissance Man." You're universally artistic--across all genres and mediums--athletic and brilliant. You were at the head of the line when the Big Guy was handing out creative gifts--and you employ each of them to the highest possible level of achievement. You are a living marvel and I enjoy seeing you endlessly challenge yourself to learn, grow, advance and achieve in new fields of endeavor. Never sell yourself short, lad... you're unique and the ideal for what human beings should strive to become and how they should conduct themselves. Not that I want to put you on an impossible high pedestal, or anything. ;-) You’d probably just bungee jump or skydive off of it, if I did, anyway. LOL {{{Johnny}}} Lots of people *believe* they're God's gift to humanity... but you actually *are* and it's marvelous to see you in action, whatever your restless spirit, clamorous Muses and piercing intellect inspire you to follow. :-)

Oh... and I hope you have fun on the show. ^^ LOL {{{Johnny}}}

Hunh. Anything they can do to keep from catching bugs in busy, high-traffic work environments, I guess. I should have invested in hand sanitizer companies... Can't go anywhere without seeing bottles of that, now. Even though the actual efficacy in real-life applications is only about 1/2 of what the companies say it is... ^^ At least we're not all walking around in masks, yet, like they do in some Asian cities. There's a sci fi movie out called "Surrogates" that takes it to the next level. In that film, people have robot bodies that they use as 'avatars' in the real world so they can avoid injury or disease.

This takes the idea of "suffering for your art" to a whole new level. ^^ Not to mention "performance art." ^^ Fight Club--with paint. ;-) Can't wait to see what y'all dream up, next. :-) Excellent choice on the soundtrack, too--has a dream-like, surreal quality. I know the film industry is thriving in Georgia--happy to see you guys cutting your teeth... and a few other body parts ^^...on a short film before, hopefully, venturing into longer formats... from documentaries to feature-length films. :-) Web-based series on the Internet are gaining in popularity, as well. There are plenty of new frontiers, media outlets, genres and technology to explore. :-)

Yayyyy! *owlish happy dance of joy & victory... which, technically speaking, is a 'Snoopy dance' from the Peanuts cartoon--delivered with copious feathers and great panache* ^^ :-D Thank you for posting this, Johnny. :-D It was worth months of waiting to see this show. :-) I honestly thought I might have to journey to Travel Channel HQ way down South and stare at them with sad Owlish eyes and an ever-so-slight beak tremble until they went into the vaults & let me see a copy of AFV. ;-) This was also a much easier viewing format than trying to break the inscrutable password encryption on a rare video compression format. ^^ I'm not shabby when it comes to computers and technology, but I'm not... er... *Jane* Bond ^^ or on the payroll of the NSA, either. ^^ LOL The show is fabulous! I wish there was a whole pile of new episodes that I could watch. I'd love to hear about your adventures on Mount Olympus & see you travel to the four corners of the world. I hope you continue to travel, regardless, and keep voraciously collecting unique experiences with integrity, passion, intent, zest for life, celebration of music and an insatiable thirst for knowledge and enlightenment. :-) Loved getting to see the Thai musical instruments being made... you were creating some extraordinarily pretty notes with your new 'mystical' instrument. I think you'd be equally enraptured by music from areas such as South America, the Middle East and Africa. :-) And, hey, now you know what to do with any old bike cables... turn them into finely seasoned strings. ;-) The Thai language sounds virtually as complex as Chinese... with different pronunciations for the exact same spelling of various words. You might be saying "mother" or "horse" depending on your intonation... and I could see that being an issue for language students (or son-in-laws. ^^) ;-) It was funny watching you 'negotiating' the rules for the invisible tattoo... "Hey, wait a minute... I don't want to give *that* up. Oh, okay, it's about *intent.*" ;-) The sea cliffs for your deep water solo were beautiful and showed your tenacity & determination to dig deep & achieve victory. King Cobra segment... eek. ^^ Well, at least you only broke some bones (your hand, when you're a musician... sigh... even though I know it was an honor and privilege to have your butt handed to you ;-) by that school's fiercest young tiger ^^) & didn't wind up having to try out how efficacious the local antivenin remedies are purported to be... ^^ I didn't hear you speaking in tongues, but maybe you *did* go into a bit of a trance--or get caught up in the moment, at least. ^^ I don't think your snake-handling Southern kin ever played with King Cobras--point for you on that one. ;-) This show is, far and away, more enjoyable than anything else I've seen on travel channels. You and your crew did a wonderful job & I wish there were more episodes. But, as long as you keep traveling, learning, adventuring and living with authenticity, intensity, energy and integrity (ummm... for a Pirate, that is... I'm sure there's a *loophole* there, somewhere ^^), that's what truly matters. You achieved what you set out to accomplish and made discoveries along your journey and within yourself that will be invaluable for life. {{{Johnny}}} :-)

Yet one more reason why you're the epitome of cool. You'd never see Brad Pitt slinging his own gear, I'd wager. LOL ;-P {{{JC}}} Let me guess... you're the crew, actor, director, music director, art director, producer, etc. ^^ You always have a flair for wearing *many* hats. ^^
